The Silver Creek Rotary Club is an organization of business, professional and community leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build good will and peace in the world. The club is comprised of more than 25 members and meets weekly in Troy, Illinois.
Silver Creek Rotary members serve four communities in southwestern Illinois (Troy, Marine, St. Jacob & Maryville) engaging in projects that support and expand opportunities for area youth. Annual service projects include supplying dictionaries to third graders in the Triad school district; delivering food baskets to needy families during the holiday season; and awarding scholarships to deserving graduates in the Silver Creek service area.
Silver Creek Rotary is one of more than 32,000 Rotary clubs in 168 countries worldwide with more than 1.2 million Rotarians who volunteer their time and skills to serve their communities and the world.
